The Role
The South East Regional integrated Policing (SERIP) programme is a regional program which seeks to enhance collaboration and improve policing outcomes across Hampshire, Thames Valley, Surrey and Sussex. It seeks to achieve this by aligning systems and functions and standardising processes. The program aims to develop a regional vision and ambition across the four forces, in support of the National Policing Vision 2025. Sussex Police are looking to recruit a highly motivated, experienced and dynamic Project Manager to support this programme.
Key Responsibilities
• Work across the four forces to look at collaborative ways of working to ensure a cost effective and efficient service. Areas of collaboration to be explored range from specialist operational areas of policing and support functions.
• Identify new opportunities to work together, help the forces scope out and recognise the implications of joint working as well as helping to calculate the benefits.
• Embed new, collaborative behaviours across the forces so that the instinct is to look for joint working opportunities, and in so doing, help change the culture of policing.
• All aspects of project management including planning, governance, stakeholder management, agreeing and monitoring key deliverables, identifying and managing risks.
Provide support to business leads across SERIP forces.

The successful candidate will have recent experience in Programme Management and change management in a complex organisation with evidence of effectively managing organisational change and resource allocation.
Proven interpersonal, stakeholder management and communication skills together with the ability to negotiate and influence staff at all levels.
Excellent organisational skills are required with the ability to plan and prioritise across a number of programmes of work.
