I have had to develop in depth knowledge and skills of how policing and training works on a force, regional and national level. My eyes have been opened to the world of education and I have found it thoroughly rewarding to learn new skills in this area from experts. Being involved in strategic decision making, shaping the direction of training within Surrey and having what is best for Surrey’s public, learner officers and existing employees in mind at all times is a daunting and taxing undertaking.
