The Role
Following the promotion of the current post-holder to a new role, an excellent opportunity has arisen to provide a proactive and dynamic personal support service to the Deputy Chief Constable of Surrey Police.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for an individual who can work well under pressure, has good organisational skills, excellent communication skills and is able to multi-task.
Working within a friendly and supportive team you will manage and prioritise the DCC's diary producing high quality documents, presentations and responding to correspondence on their behalf. You will arrange travel, accommodation and be responsible for the preparation and management of meetings including taking minutes and managing rooms and guests.
Daily liaison with Senior Leaders, Finance, IT and HR are a normality as are the competing demands of fast paced enquiries from internal and external partners.

Skills & Experience
To join this fantastic team and really be able to make an impact from day one you must possess and be able to evidence;
a good level of IT literacy with advanced Microsoft Office skills, accurate and fast note taking and typing, advanced organisational skills, the ability to work with confidential and sensitive information maintaining its integrity, a proactive approach to problem solving and the ability to produce good results with limited supervision and limited direct instructions.
You will also possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
Ideally you will already have a sound knowledge of the police service and the context in which it operates.
