This role is within a unit where Surrey Police and Sussex Police work in collaboration, whilst continuing to be two separate legal entities/employers with different terms and conditions.
Both Surrey Police staff and Sussex Police staff are employed in this unit on their own force terms and conditions.
Successful candidates may be appointed on the terms and conditions of employment of either Surrey Police or Sussex Police, depending on organisational requirements. A discussion will be held with the successful candidate to confirm the details of location, salary, allowance and hours.

The starting salary for this role will usually be at the bottom of the salary range and will be pro-rata if the working hours are less than full time.
The Role
To work from one or more of the following sites:
Home Based - Case Management
Reigate, Surrey Fire HQ
Guildford, Surrey Police HQ
Horsham Police Station
Lewes, Sussex Police HQ
£29 per hour
Bank Staff - Zero Hours – to be booked as required
To work as an OHA in the Occupational Health, Fitness and Wellbeing Service (OH&WS). To undertake
Case Management and or health assessments in support of the OHS. To undertake health surveillance/screening in line with policy.
To ensure that the service user needs are met, targets achieved and that the highest standard of clinical care and service are provided.
To assist in delivering a first class, professional occupational health service for employees, and working with the OH team in meeting this expectation
To undertake clinics on an ad hoc basis to support KPIs and ensure smooth service provision. To undertake case management and health assessments/surveillance providing evidence based advice and providing clear concise reports within the set KPIs
Key Responsibilities
To maintain a good knowledge of the latest legislative requirements and occupational health guidelines and changes in practice in line with the recognised professional bodies
To assist with provision of robust processes to ensure that health assessments and health surveillance are provided and that effective recall processes are in place
Participates in relevant training and maintain and develop OH practice, to take responsibility for own personal and professional development
Highest standards of OH clinical work and report writing
Excellent understanding of OH issues and practice
Skills & Experience
• Registered Nurse - Evidence of further study and ongoing professional development
• Specific Occupational Health qualification
OH experience/ Case Management Experience
