The Role

Are you our next Digital Producer? Someone who can produce and distribute compelling and creative on-demand social content to grow and expand our brand presence?

We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious professional to join us as Digital Producer – Content Creator. Working in our Production Hub, you will have the responsibility for developing and producing engaging, informative and purpose driven content for our social media platforms, campaigns and internal channels that focuses on our force commitments. You will also play a key role in growing our brand presence, audience and reach on our various channels by utilising innovative engagement tactics and creative content, informed by our data driven analytics. This role is a specialist role delivering communications in a visually creative way that will help to capture the audience’s attention.

We take great pride in offering opportunities to work on projects that ensure we get the best out of you, whilst simultaneously helping you grow and develop new skills in areas you may never have previously experienced. All Digital Producers in the team share the skills they know and learn from each other.

Do you want to try out new ideas? Do you enjoy taking on different challenges each day? Are you someone who thrives in a fast paced, innovative team? Yes? Then you're who we want to hear from! If you've got the drive and skills, we've got the projects to match.

You will be reporting to one of the two Digital Production Managers, who in turn report to the Head of Production. They will allocate your tasks and be your point of escalation, should you require any support. What we need is someone who knows their way around social channels and video/photography equipment and has a passion for short-form videos utilising innovative techniques. The Production Hub have an array of equipment at your disposal to bring your ideas to life.

What we thrive on is new thinking; problem solvers who can come at the issue from a different angle and produce something that catches the attention of the target audience and encourages continued sharing of that asset. One day you could be filming at the Dog School, then next you're on a raid, then perhaps in Contact Centre. What we can do is promise you variety, and a front seat to policing with an award-winning team of innovators and creators.

We're a very friendly team, who enjoy unique ideas, celebrating successes and teaching others what we know. If this sounds like your kind of team, then this job may just be made for you.
