The starting salary for this role will usually be at the bottom of the salary range and will be pro-rata if the working hours are less than full time.
The Role
We are currently looking to fill a vacancy for an experienced Digital Forensic Analyst role specialising in mobile phone forensics based at Haywards Heath in Sussex.
Key Responsibilities
Are you capable of combining technical ability with an investigative and analytical approach to case information?
Do you want to be an integral member of a specialist unit that supports all levels of criminal investigations within Sussex?
The Digital Forensics Team is responsible for the forensic recovery and analysis of data from computers and mobile phones seized during investigations.
We also provide support to all staff with advice regarding internet crime and relevant exhibit seizure.
Skills & Experience
You will need to be IT literate with significant experience in a Digital Forensics environment and possess academic achievements related to the role.
You will possess a high level of interpersonal and oral skills along with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels, especially when giving evidence at court.
You will need to have a flexible approach, be aware of operational security and possess a knowledge of procedures with particular reference to legislation concerning Disclosure, RIPA, presentation of evidence and ISO 17025.
