The Role

About the project

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work on the exciting and innovative YourPolice.UK project, as part of the NPCC’s Children and Young Persons Policing Portfolio, currently hosted by Sussex Police. We’re a very small team, working hard to develop and deliver a pioneering service.

YourPolice.UK uses social media to engage directly with children nationally, to provide reliable information and advice about crime, the law, and safety, to help young people keep themselves safe. The project centres youth voice within policing in terms of strategy, policy, and ultimately procedure.

The YourPolice.UK project is working to radically update policing’s approach to engaging with children and young people, and this is a fantastic opportunity to really change the relationship between children and the police, and to directly help young people all over the country.
