You are needed to engage with the officers, middle and upper management and stakeholders in order to ensure that the strategic changes are embedded into the culture.

The Changes will be from the digital arenas of Niche, Mobile Data, Body Worn Video, Single Online Home and the Joint Intranet. Along with the Business Change Lead and Operational Lead you will be expected to ensure that the Business understands the change that is needed and has provided the support to the users to embed this change.

There is the expectation that should a change be challenging or high impact you will ensure the project knows this and takes it into consideration.

Alongside the Business Change Lead you will need to ensure the Business Networks are kept informed and confident in providing support to the business. This will include identification of capable parties through to assisting in up skilling change agents.

Key Responsibilities

You need to have good written skills and an understanding of Microsoft programs to develop resources for the business, in the form of Crib sheets, videos and briefing documents at the request of the leads or if you believe they will be helpful.

You will need to be able to engage with officers and staff alike and show no favoritism between the forces to illustrate and explain changes - as well as highlight the impact these have on the users back to the projects.

Day to Day this role is always different - one day you may be illustrating the changes in Niche to the Intel unit and the next you may be assisting with technical user testing or testing guidance documents.....

Skills & Experience

Demonstrated desire to assist others within the policing and project frameworks is essential.

A knowledge of the Change process and stressors would be desirable.

A firm grasp of Microsoft suite is needed (excel, project, visio and Powerpoint alongside Word).

Historic or current usage of operational platforms - Niche, Pronto, BWV, sharepoint and NICE is desirable.
