This role is within a unit where Surrey Police and Sussex Police work in collaboration, whilst continuing to be two separate legal entities/employers with different terms and conditions.

Both Surrey Police staff and Sussex Police staff are employed in this unit on their own force terms and conditions.

Successful candidates may be appointed on the terms and conditions of employment of either Surrey Police or Sussex Police, depending on organisational requirements. A discussion will be held with the successful candidate to confirm the details of location, salary, allowance and hours.

The starting salary for this role will usually be at the bottom of the salary range and will be pro-rata if the working hours are less than full time.

The Role

We are currently seeking to recruit confident and self-motivated individuals to become part of our Digital Forensic Team with primary responsibilities for the processing and allocation of digital forensic submissions as well as providing advice to submitting Officers.

Key Responsibilities

Process all submissions in line with the Digital Forensics Team’s current Service Level Agreement ensuring the suitable quality and standard of each submission. Provide Investigating Officers and staff with appropriate advice, guidance and support in relation to the submissions process. Accurately update and maintain auditable records and collate and analyse management information. To undertake training and participate in the provision of auditing for accreditation purposes across Forensic Investigations when requested.

Skills & Experience

To be successful as a Workflow Co-ordinator you will have excellent time management and interpersonal skills with the ability to work on your own initiative, planning and prioritising your day and responding to changing demands. You will be IT literate and have a high standard of written and verbal communication skills with the ability to accurately input, record and analyse information with absolute discretion and confidentiality.
