The Role & Key Responsibilities
From your first day with us you will be part of a policing family making a real difference.
It is our mission to identify and protect vulnerable people, prevent and respond to harm and keep people safe.
In this role you will be responsible for the maintenance of Citizen Journeys, the development of new journeys, and the technical administration of the Citizen Portal, including managing account access.
The postholder designs and develops CRM solutions which improves public engagement, ultimately delivering a better policing service to our communities. This is undertaken through automating and streamlining customer-facing processes.
Skills & Experience
Degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or related field. Alternatively, significant equivalent experience within a CRM-enabled or data-driven business change environment, developing, implementing, IT-enabled change initiatives
Certified in MS Office Suite in addition to specialised applications such as or can demonstrate competence in using these applications.
Certified SalesForce:
- Administrator - PSS (Service) Cloud
- Advanced Administrator - PSS (Service) Cloud
- Experience Cloud Consultant - PSS (Service) Cloud
- Marketing Cloud Admin – Communications Cloud
(Or willing to work towards and achieve certification within first 12 months in post.)
Proven experience in the delivery of data-driven business change, IT modernization, or CRM-enablement and how this transposes into behavioural change.
Understanding of cloud computing, webservices and the software development lifecycle
Ability to gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into business requirements, identifying opportunities for improvement
Exceptional problem solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to influence a range of internal stakeholders
Ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively with external stakeholders to deliver mutually beneficial business outcomes
Ability to manage conflicting priorities and flex service provision to negotiate and resolve problems with customers and stakeholders
Ability to self-manage and work in a dynamic environment.
Willingness to embrace new ways of working and influence other parts of the business to adopt and change behaviour
Excellent knowledge and extensive application of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Understanding of operational policing and processes, along with policing technology such as Niche and Storm data warehouse.
