This role is within a unit where Surrey Police and Sussex Police work in collaboration, whilst continuing to be two separate legal entities/employers with different terms and conditions.
Both Surrey Police staff and Sussex Police staff are employed in this unit on their own force terms and conditions.
Successful candidates may be appointed on the terms and conditions of employment of either Surrey Police or Sussex Police, depending on organisational requirements. A discussion will be held with the successful candidate to confirm the details of location, salary, allowance and hours.

The starting salary for this role will usually be at the bottom of the salary range and will be pro-rata if the working hours are less than full time.
The Role
The Policing 365 Programme is delivering transformational change that will impact every employee across Surrey and Sussex Police through the introduction of services such as Teams, Sharepoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Exchange Online, Windows 10.
We are now nearing the critical milestones of our Technical and Business Pilots where benefits identification, capture and realisation are key. Working closely with the Business Engagement Lead, you will also be supporting the liaison with our change champions and business stakeholders as well as linking in with the National Enabling Programme representatives and other forces.
Funding is currently only available for this role until end of September 2022
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include;
Identifying, monitoring and tracking all benefits associated with the Policing 365 programme, reporting these at the relevant boards and forums and ensuring the Benefits Strategy remains current.
Facilitating workshops for those in Technical and Business Pilots to inform our Force Rollout.
Supporting the Business Engagement Lead with communications both internally and externally, particularly in relation to the Change Champions network
Skills & Experience
Experience in the identification, planning, tracking and realisation of business benefits is critical for this role.
Excellent communication skills are required both in terms of written documentation and providing reports for various boards and forums but also facilitating workshops and presenting what might be complex information.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who has knowledge of services such as Microsoft 365 already, especially in a policing environment as this would help quickly with the identification stages for our pilots.
