The Role
To manage and deliver the training requirements for the Grow your Own Training Program and ensure the best training experience is achieved through high levels of quality training, engagement, interaction and follow up. Equip all apprentices with the skills and knowledge required to succeed in their roles. The role holder will with work closely with the Global GYO Talent Development and Talent Acquisition Leads, Regional Talent Acquisition teams, as well as business stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of this program and placement of individuals.
Key Accountabilities
- Understand business needs, collaborate with the business to identify and agree learning needs and priorities
- Managing the program, scheduling the training sessions, and learning activities
- Coach/Manage and support apprentices through the training program
- Coordination of the trainers and subject matter experts for delivery
- Delivering train-the-trainers and equipping trainers with all they will need to deliver high quality training
- Handling assessments/ quizzes etc to assess capability and adoption of learning
- Delivery of training e.g. soft skills training during the program
- Setting up buddies, mentors and / or coaches for the delegates
- Assessing the ongoing needs and adapting the training with enhancements
- Partnering with the Global Grow Your Own TD and TA leads
- Carryout regularly scheduled 1-1’s with apprentices
- Identify development opportunities for apprentices
- Complete all required documentation to evidence work completed in line with Apprenticeship Inc. tracking of time spent off the job
- Escalation point for Apprentices, Providers and Line Managers
- Responsible for all required paperwork submission
- Work with schools and colleges to educate and inform students and increase awareness of AMS and apprenticeship
- Taking operational ownership for the regional Grow Your Own program by:
- Adapting Global requirements for overall recruitment marketing materials for the program (in conjunction with our Employer Branding team) to meet the Americas region’s needs, ensuring that our D&I messaging is built into the deliverables
- Working in partnership with the regional TA teams to ensure that they have robust plans in place to hire the regional Recruiter cohorts and advise on selection approach
- Tracking activities with regional TA teams to meet agreed diversity targets
- Partner with the regional HR Business Partner and regional business leaders, developing the resource management plan for each cohort ensuring that they are allocated to an account when their training is complete
- Overseeing the hiring and induction of all cohorts – hold weekly check in reviews during training to drive maximum participation and engagement with the program
- In conjunction with regional leadership teams, agreeing demand and location strategy for future cohorts

- Passionate about cultivating, driving, and developing AMS team members within the organization
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships with key stake holders across multiple functions of the business
- Team player with high energy and positive attitude
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite product
