The Role
This is an exciting time to join AMS! YOU can make a difference and add immediate impact as a Resource Specialist that will support at Tier I Service Management company. The Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for recruiting technicians primarily focused within the LATAM region.
This role will be based in Monterrey, Mexico.
Key Accountabilities
- Consult with the hiring manager to complete a detailed job specification and undertake the requisition intake discussion explaining the role information which needs to be collated and agree time scales and obligations for the resourcing process
- Oversee the design of resourcing plans which meet requirements for roles and volume hiring
- Ensure target operating model and SLAs are delivered against and proactively raise concerns around target achievement escalating these to the Client Services Manager
- Ensuring all requisitions are fully specified and tracked through the correct authorization sourcing channels and processes
- Maintaining recruitment system accurately
- Screening, qualifying suitable candidates and providing a short-list to the hiring manager
- Facilitating the interview and selection process utilizing the appropriate templates, including determining most appropriate interview questions to measure candidates skills as required
- Negotiating rates/salaries, present and sell candidates within their business areas to hiring managers, while ensuring that all processes are followed in line with the agreed methodology
- Work with business leaders to Forecast placements based on demand, changes in the clients business, the candidate pipeline and trends in business demand
- Producing timely and accurate activity reporting
- Involvement in on-site intake meetings and weekly follow up meetings with client
- Identifying areas of process improvement, service enhancement, related strategic projects and opportunities to increase the scope of the service and communicating these to the Client Services Manager and the team (including administrators and resource specialists)
Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of recruitment experience (preferably high volume experience)
- Fluent in English (both oral and written)
- Knowledge of recruiting for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts is preferred
- Worked with, presented to and solved issues for senior clients and candidates
- Experience working to and achieving demanding targets, ratios and SLAs
- Thorough understanding of legislation affecting area of work (e.g. age discrimination, employment risks for contractors)
- Experience in the use of recruitment technology and recruitment databases
- Initiates and encourages a positive attitude towards change and innovation
- Actively promotes and implements processes and methodologies to enhance team’s delivery capability
