The Role
We are looking for a Senior Recruiter to join us and work with our client, Thermo Fisher Scientific. The successful person will support one of our largest clients within our Pharma / Life Science sector. Thermo Fisher Scientific's mission is to accelerate life sciences research, improve patient diagnostics, deliver medicines to market and increase laboratory productivity.
You’ll be the primary owner of the relationship with the hiring managers, acting as first point of contact, providing advice, sourcing and reviewing applications, screening interviews and supporting with offer management.
The role’s focus is to support the hiring managers with filling their vacancies as quickly and efficiently as possible whilst ensuring all quality thresholds and KPIs are met. This is a full end to end Recruiter role, where you will manage delivery from initial briefing with the stakeholders all the way through to candidate start.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure the recruitment service is delivered, in line with contractual obligations and client service levels
- Responsible for the full recruitment process from vacancy briefing, sourcing, and management of candidate through the process to start date
- Building and maintaining hiring manager relationships and be responsible for client satisfaction within your own business area
- Provide timely and quality feedback on the long / short lists supplied by the team, ensuring any necessary changes are made before submission to the hiring manager
- Ensure all AMS and client systems are updated in a correct and timely manner
- Compliant with legislation affecting area of work (e.g. age discrimination)
Skills & Experience
- Experienced in recruiting within the pharma / life science sector is ideal
- We are looking for someone who is passionate about candidate and client experience
- With a consultative approach, you can demonstrate where you have been a trusted adviser to your client, with the desire to be involved in shaping the recruitment strategy and adding value to your stakeholders
- Excellent communicator
