The role
We are currently hiring a Diversity Recruiter to support the diversity recruiting initiatives for a premier Financial Services client. This role can be based remotely within the US.
As a Diversity Recruiter, you will be responsible for building creative, tailored, and impactful solutions to support client hiring initiatives across mid to senior career levels for multiple business functions.
In this strategic role, you will be a true partner with the client talent acquisition team to enhance the attraction, engagement, and recruitment of experienced professionals from a diverse talent market.
You will have extensive client exposure and partner with key stakeholders to consciously drive projects and strategic initiatives. You will be passionate about D&I, resourceful, proactive, and tenacious with the ability to influence through meaningful conversations and data-based research.
The role will be dynamic – no day is the same and each project requires a different approach and solution. If you’re a problem solver, it’s a great role! Activities will include leveraging data to drive actionable and strategic objectives, building relationships with key D&I client stakeholders, establishing a strong network of partner organizations to help develop and drive strategies to recruit diverse talent in a highly competitive market.
Accountabilities
- Proactively build and source a pipeline of candidates across various experience levels and business functions in support of the client’s diversity hiring initiatives

Act as a trusted advisor to build a diverse talent pipeline, attract best in class talent, and provide actionable recommendations based upon data driven insights

Work within various recruiting tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, SeekOut, Indeed and resume databases to proactively source and engage with diverse talent

Build diverse candidate pipelines for short term and long-term hiring efforts

Work collaboratively with the Talent Acquisition Team to help identify and engage diverse candidates and share leads for open requisitions and hiring pipelines

Track progress of candidate engagement and ensure all qualified opportunities are being considered

Provide a world-class candidate experience and provide timely communication and feedback throughout all stages of the interview process

Attend Diversity job fairs, networking events and seminars as required

Proactively research tools, organizations, and job boards for promotion of career opportunities to a diverse talent pool

Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Skills & Experience

5+ years of previous recruiting experience with 2+ years of diversity recruiting

A passion for understanding and engaging diverse talent

Proven background in using innovative research & sourcing strategies to identify and engage diverse talent

Excellent communication skills with the ability to positively build cross-functional relationships

Prior experience with direct sourcing for passive candidates and expertise in various candidate sourcing strategies

Excellent attention to detail and experience using MS Suite, recruitment technology, and recruitment databases

Comfortable working in fast-paced and dynamic environment with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

Experience screening and interviewing while ensuring optimal candidate engagement

Innovative, creative, an outside the box thinker, with an ambition to make a difference

Experience working with remote teams

Experienced in stakeholder management; consulting and influencing stakeholders, with a passion for having conversations about all things D&I

High degree of self-motivation with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
